We install 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters as our standard recommendation for Northern Virginia homes. The 40% greater water capacity over standard 5-inch gutters makes a real difference during the intense summer thunderstorms that are common in our area. The wider opening also reduces clogging from leaves and debris, which means less maintenance.
Seamless gutters are fabricated on-site from continuous .032 aluminum coils using a portable roll-forming machine. This means each run is one continuous piece with no joints or seams to leak. The only connections are at corners and downspout outlets, which are sealed with professional-grade sealant. We pair them with 3x4" downspouts for maximum drainage capacity.
